About the film
The couple had been married quietly in 2020 and were doing the day properly at last, with people who had flown a long way to be there. The film leans into that: more time on arrivals, more time on faces, less on setup.
Two cameras through the ceremony, one for the rest. The speeches run long in the edit on purpose — they were the reason for the day.

We waited three years for that day and I was worried a camera would make it feel staged. It did the opposite. My father's speech is in there in full.
