About the film

Most internal films are made for the board and endured by everyone else. This one was pitched the other way round: interviews on the shop floor, no scripted lines, and a structure built around what people actually said when asked what they were proud of.

Shot across three sites in five days with a small crew, so filming interrupted as little as possible. Delivered with subtitles, a 16:9 master for all-hands, and a square cut for internal comms screens.

Outcome

Played at the company's annual all-hands and reused across recruitment pages.

Frames from the shoot

Daylight through the workshop's high windows.
A doorway opening onto the yard.
Overhead light across the assembly floor.

Three sites, five days, and production stopped for a total of about twenty minutes. People still bring the film up in interviews eighteen months later.
