Nine Hours in Lisbon

Twenty-two guests, no cars, and a route through four neighbourhoods. Coverage was deliberately light — one camera, two lenses, a bag that could be carried all day — so the film could go everywhere the couple went.

The heat and the hard afternoon light are in the film rather than graded out of it. It ends on handheld footage of the walk back down to the water, which was not planned and is the best thing in it.
